_Distance

This was a distance check to see how the antenna performed - Position of collar was laid on its side on top of an ATV between 2 sheds and water tanks

The bullbar antenna was tested through the mountain ranges just out side of Goulburn.

During the distant test the collar lost communication about 5 times over 10km but it did pick back up again, eventually at 15 km we lost signal. We put ourselves in situations so the collar would be behind thick scrub, mountains and different elevations.

The performance of the antenna was very good, we did not expected not to get this sort of distance.

We have done further tests in different locations and we were averaging 6-7km, the 3 collars we tested were put at 60-70cm of the ground to mimic the height of a dog, the collars were put in our yard between the work shed and colour bond fence

We are not saying you will get the above distances all the time in a hunting situation, the above was to see how far we might pick up a signal
